Heart Attack vs Cardiac Arrest

Image
The difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest. Both this one sounds very similar because both of them can suddenly end your life. So what is heart attack and what is cardiac arrest? To understand thatI think you should first understand the basic physiology of the heart. So heart is a pump, it starts pumping from the day you are born to the day you die. So to make sure the heart pumps efficiently and continuously there are two circuits which help your heart. One circuit is a tube or the blood vessel which is carrying blood to the heart muscle. So continuously the blood is flowed into the blood vessel which carry blood to the heart muscle. So the heart muscle is continuously nourished. So this is what we call the coronary arteries. These are theblood vessel which carries blood to the heart muscle and it is not only this circuit, there is also another circuit which take electricity through the fiber across your heart. So this is called electrical impulse or the nerve impulse. T

Is Calcium Deposit Bad for Coronary Artery Disease?

It is a calcium deposit in the coronary artery or the blood vessel which is carrying blood to the heart muscle. So why does this calcium start depositing in your coronary arteries? So naturally, around 99% of the calcium deposit happens in your bone and in your teeth. But sometimes this calcium can also deposit in the coronary arteries. For many decades, there are a lot of research work has done and they have shown this deposition of calcium is directly linked to your chances of getting heart attack in the next ten year, which is called a ten year risk. So what is the reason this calcium deposition is going to increase your risk of getting a heart attack for that? Now, what the clinical implication or how to treat this has emerged? So many patients with this calcium deposit in the coronary arteries. They go to the cardiologist, and when the cardiologist find they have a thick calcium deposit in your blood vessel, whether the patient is mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic, they try to o
