Heart Attack vs Cardiac Arrest

 The difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest. Both this one sounds very similar because both of them can suddenly end your life. So what is heart attack and what is cardiac arrest? To understand thatI think you should first understand the basic physiology of the heart. So heart is a pump, it starts pumping from the day you are born to the day you die. So to make sure the heart pumps efficiently and continuously there are two circuits which help your heart. One circuit is a tube or the blood vessel which is carrying blood to the heart muscle. So continuously the blood is flowed into the blood vessel which carry blood to the heart muscle. So the heart muscle is continuously nourished. So this is what we call the coronary arteries. These are theblood vessel which carries blood to the heart muscle and it is not only this circuit, there is also another circuit which take electricity through the fiber across your heart. So this is called electrical impulse or the nerve impulse. This is a electrical circulation and this electrical circulation also hasto be constantly going around the heart muscle to make sure the heart gets enough electricity to have a rhythm of pumping continuously. So both these circuits are very important for the heart to contract normally without any problem. So here when you say a heart attack, these tubes or theblood vessel which is carrying the blood may get obstructed and because of that there is no blood is flowing to the heart muscle and the heart muscle can get damaged and stopped. So this is called heart attack which can also cause us instant death and second is as Isaid cardiac arrest. Here what happened? The blood flow it is normal but unfortunately the electrical circuit which is carrying the electricity across your heart muscle suddenly stop functioning. When it does, the heart does not get its electricity to pump. So the heart can stop instantly, this can also leadto death. So as you say both of them are different circuit but both will end up in a death. So we should understand cardiac arrest and heart attack both are a different terminology but usually both lead to the same outcome of death. So we should understand cardiac arrest and heart attack. EECP, enhanced external counter pulsation, heal your heart, waste so many ducts, EECP.
