Instead, it occurs due to increased stress on the heart, often triggered by conditions like anaemia, respiratory illnesses, chronic blood loss, or liver problems. These conditions impose excessive workload on the heart, compromising its ability to function effectively and leading to a heart attack.

 Type 3 - Sudden Onset Myocardial Infarction

This type of heart attack presents a unique challenge as it occurs suddenly without prior symptoms or warning signs. By the time medical attention is sought, the patient may have already experienced severe chest pain or, tragically, may have passed away. Without the presence of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) or cardiac enzymes, confirming a heart attack becomes challenging.

 Type 4 - Angioplasty-Related Myocardial Infarction

 Angioplasty, a common interventional procedure used to treat coronary artery blockages, can inadvertently lead to heart attacks in some cases. Within 48 hours of the procedure, patients may experience a heart attack due to factors such as stent thrombosis, where blood clots form within the stent, or stent restenosis, where the stent narrows or closes over time.

 Type 5 - Bypass Surgery-Related Myocardial Infarction

 While bypass surgery is often performed to alleviate blockages in the coronary arteries, it carries inherent risks, including the possibility of causing a heart attack. The surgical procedure involves accessing and manipulating delicate heart tissues and vessels, increasing the likelihood of damage to the heart muscle. As a result, patients undergoing bypass surgery may experience heart attacks either during the procedure or in the post-operative period.
